Cheese maker Karen Borg, and daughter Kate create these award-winning delights with passion and a commitment to producing the finest quality cheeses. Husband David is in charge of the Dairy, comprising 100 high producing dairy goats that are milked twice daily.
The Willowbrae story began fourteen years ago on five acres in the Hawkesbury foothills, with Karen and David Borg, trading their corporate lives for five acres, two Toggenburg dairy goats, and one cheese-making book. Willobrae Chevre Cheese Farm now runs a 100-goat dairy, producing exquisite artisan cheeses, milk and yoghurts to supply markets and restaurants in and around Sydney.
